The prevention of sexual harassment involves implementing measures to establish a workplace culture that is respectful and devoid of any form of sexual harassment. Sexual harassment is defined as any unwelcome behavior of a sexual nature that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive work environment. This harassment may take on physical, verbal, or visual forms.

To prevent sexual harassment, CALUMS adopts a proactive approach to address sexual harassment in the workplace. CALUMS clearly communicates its policies and procedures to all employees, including guidelines for reporting and investigating incidents of sexual harassment.

Apart from the policies and procedures, CALUMS places importance on creating a workplace culture that is inclusive, respectful, and safe, which encourages employees to report incidents of sexual harassment without fear of retaliation.

In summary, CALUMS is committed to creating a workplace environment that is free from sexual harassment and where employees feel valued, respected, and safe.

If you experience any incidents of sexual harassment at CALUMS, please report them immediately to the administration office by calling 714-533-3946 or emailing the student services advisor at ssa@calums.edu.
